My favourite screensaver ever -- BBC 1980s Clock

I have been getting a ridiculous amount of pleasure out if this simple screensaver on the BBC Ashes to Ashes website.  It is a working BBC1 clock of the kind you would see between programmes back in the early 1980s.  In other words, it is a nice piece of nostalgia for those of us who were in our teens back then.  There is something about being a British expat that makes it all the more enjoyable, with distance as well as time separating us from Auntie.

If I could bear to get rid of my My Pictures screensaver I'd get this one! I'm a teensy bit too young to remember Ashes to Ashes' setting, but thoroughly enjoying it anyway, and there are some elements - Morph!!! - that apply to my mid-late 80s childhood as well.

Yes, great series; loved Morph's appearance, and also Roland Rat and Keith Harris and Orville. Nice that they have resisted the temptation to overdo those elements too.
