There is no question about it -- this is the best Doctor Who trailer yet. If the trailers are this good, how good is the series going to be? I might have to fly to England specially to see the first episode next Saturday.
There may be a serious spoiler in this trailer, or it may be Russell T. Davies's misdirection to make us think along completely the wrong lines (as with Astrid at Christmas, who had nothing to do with the Tardis, as it turned out). Either way, all very interesting.

I agree it looks very exciting indeed. Are you able to use the BBC iplayer over in the states?
Thanks for posting these trailers, Mark. I'm still apprehensive of this upcoming series, what with bringing back Rose and Martha already.
Nor do I care for this melodramatic bit from the trailer:
"He's out there facing a thousand dangers across the stars and never giving up... He's a legend, and his name is... THE DOCTOR!"
Please, Russell Davies, enough of this superhero stuff. That's what ended up wrecking the season-three finale Last of the Time Lords.
Hopefully my fears are groundless. We'll soon see!
Hmm ... I'll tell you how much you missed.
Hi Steven. No, the BBC have blocked the iPlayer to those off-shore. Expats are a bit up in arms about it because we would happily pay the TV license to get it; but there are other ways of accessing the content.
Loren: you're not easy to please :) I loved this trailer. I'm probably wrong about the spoiler in there, though.
Thanks, Doug. I am thinking of flying to England for the first ep.
Mark,
Thanks for putting this stuff up. If you manage to get over there for this (or any) episode, we'll look for a full report on your return!
And thank you for alerting us to Torchwood. What a ride!
We're not expats, just Yanks that appreciate UK television.
I had fun speculating about this series. We'll see if I turn out to be a false prophet.
